"Horse Sense" Summer Camp

This week-long summer camp offers children ages 10 -14 an opportunity to enjoy a hands-on experience with the horses at Danada Equestrian Center. It is a well-rounded program that introduces children to the day-to-day activities and experiences of a working stable.

Activities include hayrides, stable chores, arts and crafts, games and supervised lead-line rides. (No other forms of horseback riding will be permitted.)

Four one-week sessions are offered. Each session runs Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Children must bring a sack lunch. For enrollment information, click here.

"Riding Sense" Summer Camp

Riding Sense Summer Camp is a week-long summer camp for children 12 - 14 years old that includes all of the activities of "Horse Sense" Summer Camp, described above, plus the wonders and challenge of a riding program. The campers will enjoy activities such as grooming and bathing the horses, hayrides, and arts and crafts along with a one-hour riding lesson daily. Campers must be at least 12 years old to participate in the riding camp.

The riding camp will be limited to 12 participants per session. This program will prepare young students for Horsemanship I and will not qualify campers for Horsemanship II or the Trail Ride program. Four one-week sessions are offered. Each session runs Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. For enrollment information, click here.
