Group Trail Rides

Trail Rides Application

Trail Boss Trail Rides consists of a package of six one-hour walk-trot rides. Trail rides can only be purchased in packages of six rides.

Prerequisite for enrollment is satisfactory completion of Introduction to Horsemanship I or successful completion of a Placement Exam.

Trail rides are conducted on trails through the Danada and Herrick Lake forest preserves.

Trail riders must purchase a package of six trail rides to be used at their convenience within 10 months of the date of purchase. (Trail ride permits expire 10 months from date of purchase.) The trail ride package can only be utilized by the permittee. Trail ride permits are not transferable to another party. Trail rides are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from April through November. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting the Danada Equestrian Center at (630) 668-6012.

Remember!!! It is up to the individual enrolling in trail rides to note the exact dates and times of your scheduled ride. For cancellations please contact the Danada Equestrian Center Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday at (630) 668-6012. Ride cancellations received after 10:00am on the day of your prescheduled ride will be counted as a ride taken!

Six 60-minute trail rides:
$150.00 (In-county resident)
$240.00 (Out-of-county resident)
