Volunteer Information

The Danada Equestrian Center wouldn't exist without the hard work and dedication of its volunteers! Whether you've got experience with horses or not, it's a great opportunity to learn a lot and make some friends (human and equine alike).

This section of the site is intended to provide information regarding Danada's volunteer program. If you have other questions, call the equestrian center's office at 630-668-6012 during regular business hours Wednesday through Sunday.

REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEER STATUS

ALL PROSPECTIVE DANADA VOLUNTEERS MUST:

• Be at least 14 years of age
• Be prepared to make a commitment of one year
• Complete an application & a background check
• Complete an insurance waiver and hold harmless agreement
• Be able to lift 40 lbs., work independently or with a team
• Attend an orientation meeting & complete the 16 hours of training
• Have a current tetanus vaccination

The above steps must be completed before a volunteer may begin service.
